Lake Effect Gallery is located in the main shopping district of Holland, Michigan. Our gallery is hidden inside the Claremont Court building which is situated next to the Historical Model Drug store (north east corner of River St. and Eighth Street). You will see ‘Yeta’s’ and ‘Merle Norman’ also on the main floor entrance signage.
Our classes are held on the lower level. Check in at the first floor gallery or head right down on the elevator to the ‘B’ level.

January through April 15th
Monday through Friday, 10:00 to 5:00, the Gallery is closed on Tuesdays for studio time and classes. Saturdays – 10:30 to 4:30
Spring Break – This year it is April 7th to the 11th. Everyone we know including, our artists and employees, leaves Holland this week! We are open on the weekends but closed during the week days for this week.
April 15th through December
Monday through Friday, 10:00 to 5:30,
Saturdays, 10:00 to 5:00
Summer Evenings until 8:00
We will be open on Thursday evenings during the Street Performer season.

This is the central theme to the work you will find within Lake Effect Gallery. The Gallery features an ever changing collection of West Michigan, Lake Shore artist's work, both original and custom prints.
Our niche is providing affordable, friendly art for the home and work environment that is produced by professional West Michigan artists. We provide selection assistance to our patrons when needed through home visits, private appointments, and consultations with interior designers. We also offer coordination of commissioned work and custom giclee reproduction services.
Our professional framing is customer focused. We take the time to provide a selection of creative alternative ideas and price points for perfectly presenting your art. We also encourage our clients to take samples and work home to view in their own environment to gain confidence in their selections before ordering.
Along with our art sales, we enjoy encouraging and supporting individuals in their God given creativity. Small (approximately 6-12 students), relaxed classes are made available periodically in watercolor and acrylic painting. These are scheduled at various times to meet the student's needs. Our private painting ‘parties’ have become really popular with groups of friends seeking a unique experience together. See our events & classes page.
